Last Thursday more than 40 intrepid Space Cadets from Year 5 set out on to boldly go where children at our school had never been before! For the first time ever we had a sleep over… in our new school hall!

We had two brilliant lectures from Ogden Trust Fellow Judith Green and fantastic workshops including Slow Mo, Planet Fact File, Mission Control and Constellation Explorer. The highlight of the evening was Star Gazing Live led by our very own Astronomer… Mr Beck’s dad! In fact there was so much to learn that it was soon time for a cup of hot chocolate and a moon crater crumpet. Friday morning came all too soon – and with it some very tired teachers and happy children!
