On Wednesday 6th November, 29 very excited year 1s and 2s and staff, set off on a rather damp day to Conkers Adverture and Discovery Park. However although it rained all day it didnt dampen our spirits.
Our first adventure was a train ride to the Waterside area, where we listened to a woodland story and made puppets, before going on a track around the 200,000 trees at Conkers! We saw squirrels and collected some leaves and acorns. We also found lots of habitats for big and small animals, and discover why moss grows on only one side of the tree!
We then had a great time on the adventure playground; the zip wire being the highlight! Aftter lunch we went back to the Discovery side of the park and enjoyed a puddle trail as well as the view from the tree house, before explore the indoor exhibts.
A lot of fun and learning was had by all!
