Castleton Day 4!

As the morning mist cleared, we were left with a glorious day in Castleton. The groups climbing Mam Tor this morning and this afternoon were offered fabulous view across both Hope and Edale Valley. Also, the sun always makes crawling through rocks on your stomach a little more enjoyable! At the end of the day, it was time to say goodbye to the instructors who have been instrumental in the success of this week. They have supported and encouraged the children to face many of their fears and it has been great to see the children in turn support each other and grow in confidence. The evening ended, after spending much time auctioning off items of clothing from the drying room, around the camp fire reminiscing about our week; the children have thoroughly enjoyed themselves but are looking forward to seeing their families tomorrow and sharing stories of their adventures in the Peak District.
