Castleton Day 4

With the final full day of activities completed, and home time fast approaching... the children have once again demonstrated their courage, initiative and determination throughout the day. Tonight has been a busy but special evening as the children have gathered around the campfire for a sing song; participated in Mrs Pinborough’s famous bingo night extravaganza and have been able to purchase a few memorable souvenirs at the Hollowford Centre tuck shop. Bags have been packed, the drying room emptied - with only a few stray socks left (a new school record!) – and rooms tidied ready for departure tomorrow. The children are looking forward to a visit to Treak Cliff Cavern in the morning where they will get to experience the caves and see the famous Blue John stones. We will be leaving there after lunch and we are sure the children will be looking forward to getting home and sharing their stories from the week!
